If you've ever picked up a crystal and felt something you couldn't quite put into words, you're in the right place. That feeling is where I started too.

I'm Jonathan, though most people call me Grizz. I came to crystals through the spiritual side first, and through rockhounding: time outside with my eyes on the ground, learning what the earth gives up and where. Gemology came later. I studied it because I wanted to understand what I was holding, not to talk anyone out of what they feel when they hold it.

I've been selling crystals for close to ten years now, from Squamish, BC. I still rockhound wherever I travel, and I still cut and facet crystals myself. I work with both raw and polished pieces, and I love them both. A raw crystal is already whole. Cutting just shows a different side of it.

Most of what I know came from doing it. Some of it quietly contradicts what gets repeated online, and I'd rather tell you what I actually know than what sounds good.
